4th Grade

Jesus Is More Than A Story

In the fourth grade, our 9- to 10-year olds are learning the books of the Old Testament. Every week in class we will go over one new book of the New Testament. When the child comes in every morning they will have a chance to recite all of the books that they have memorized so far. For each group of books they correctly recite they will recieve a leaf for their tree to put up on the bulletin board.

During the next 13 weeks the class will be going over memory verses and stories of the Old Testament. The children will go on a journey through the Old Testament learning important Bible stories and memory verses on the way. For every memory verse that the student memorizes and is able to recite from memory the next week, a leaf will be awarded also.
