Childcare is provided for ages 6 months–4 years on Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The cost is $20. Parents can enjoy a cup of coffee and let their children play in the care of our nursery workers. Please call x254 for reservations or questions. This is an on-going program and will take place every Thursday.
Vacation Bible School, July 14–18 was a wonderful time of worship, crafts, games, and stories. Each day had a phrase for the kids to memorize, such as we share, we love, we grow, and we praise. One highlight was a visit by an Eco Station, who showed us interesting animals. Another highlight was games on Friday. There was a water slide and a slip-n-slide, which everyone really enjoyed. This year’s theme was Rainforest Adventure: being Caretakers of God’s Creation. Children learned about the importance of being good stewards of God’s world.
The nursery is open at 8:15 am every Sunday. They will take older children who’s parents attend the 8:30 am service.
Preschool through KOK meet from 9:15 am to 10:45 am on Sunday. If you wish to be part of these classes, you may just show up. If you want more information you may follow the links to the class pages on the main page.
If you are a Junior High or High School student, your class meets in the middle terrace. If you wish to take part just show up.
Are your kids bored? Check out our Children’s Library on the second floor of the pre-school building. We have books and videos for all ages and interests. And, we’re open on Sunday’s during the summer from 8:45 am–12:45 am.
