On Sunday, June 8, 2008, our 6th graders will be honored in a special program to commemorate their graduation into the Junior High Department. The festivities will begin in the Middle Terrace at 9:15am. A continental breakfast will be served as you watch the program and enjoy this exciting day.
Kids of the Kingdom, or KOK, is comprised of the fifth and sixth grade classes. Sunday School is held every Sunday from 9:15 am to 10:45 am in the Crossley Terrace Theatre.
The morning starts off with social time, where new friends are made and old ones are greeted. Then worship begins, lead by the staff musician, Percy. The offering is then collected, followed by group prayer. The class then breaks up into four small groups based on grade and gender. Visitors and new members either go with their friends or are introduced into a group. In the small groups, the students and their teacher join in fellowship to discuss the main lesson. At the end of the session, the students are dismissed by their teacher to meet their parents and go to service of choir.
Sunday school begins on 9 September 2007 at 9:15 am.
The theme for this spring's lessons is families. The scriptures are taken from Gensis and First Corinthians.
