The Two Tyrones

The Two Tyrones, written by Wade Hudson, is a story about Tyrone Rashone Williams and his desire to be the one and only. He buys a brand new pair of shoes, which he worked all summer for, and he knows for sure he would be the only one wearing them on the first day of school. Unfortunately, when he arrives, every boy is wearing the same exact pair. His day was off to a bad start.

Class started, and a boy walked in with a piece of paper, which he handed to the teacher. She introduced him as the new student, Tyrone Rashon Williams. Instantly, people had confused them because the didn't know which one they were talking to. The first Tyrone discussed this dilemma with his dad, who advised him to talk with the new Tyrone about using a nickname.

The new Tyrone liked this idea. Since the new Tyrone was already called "T.R." at home, he decided to use that nickname at school. Their problem was solved, and they became good friends.

When we have problems, God wants us to tell Him and ask Him for his advice just as Tyrone asked his dad for advice with his problem. Psalm 23:3 says, "...He leads me in paths of righteousness..." God will not lead us to our death, but to eternal life.
